Athlete Stories
Hear It From our Athletes and Families
I honestly had no clue how recruiting worked when I started. CPS broke down what to do each year and which schools were actually realistic for me. I stopped feeling like I was behind everybody else.
The highlights I made were good but no coaches were reaching out. CPS filmed me and helped me get it in front of the right programs. Got my first real coach reply a couple weeks later.
They helped me with the stuff nobody tells you about — how to word an email, what to do at camps, following up without being annoying. I showed up way more ready than I would've on my own.
You feel like you're supposed to know how all this works as a parent, and I really didn't. Being able to call CPS with a question and get a straight answer made a huge difference for our family.
