About

About College Pathway Sports

We are former athletes, coaches, and recruiting experts on a mission to level the playing field for every high school athlete who dreams of competing at the next level.

Our Story

Built by Athletes, for Athletes

College Pathway Sports was founded by former college athletes who lived the recruiting process firsthand — and saw how broken it was. Too many talented athletes were being overlooked not because they lacked ability, but because they lacked visibility.

We built CPS to change that. Through strategic media content, digital branding, and direct outreach to college programs, we help athletes get in front of the coaches who matter — at the right time, with the right message.

We've helped athletes across the country earn opportunities at programs ranging from Division I powerhouses to Division III gems. Every athlete's path is different — and we treat it that way.

Our Values

Our Core Values

Athlete First

Every decision we make starts with what is best for the athlete — not the school, not the sport, not the system.

Radical Transparency

We tell you exactly where you stand, what coaches are saying, and what steps to take next. No smoke and mirrors.

Relentless Execution

We outwork the competition on behalf of every athlete we represent. Your dreams deserve our full effort.

Our Team

Meet Our Leadership

Our team combines decades of playing, coaching, and recruiting experience to give every athlete an unfair advantage.

Jake Deane

Director of Advisory and Media Strategy

Jake leads both the Media Strategy and Recruiting Advisory sides of College Pathway Sports. On the media side, he directs the design and execution of athlete branding, video production, and content distribution. On the advisory side, he works closely with student athletes and families to navigate the end-to-end recruiting process — coach communication, process navigation, and positioning athletes for real offers at every level. Jake played NCAA Division I lacrosse, earned All-American honors, and competed in a Final Four before going on to play professionally. He founded True Lacrosse and built it into the largest club lacrosse program in the world, developing an extensive national network and helping thousands of athletes and families navigate the recruiting journey. Jake brings deep expertise in athlete evaluation and provides unbiased, experience-driven guidance — with a unique ability to help athletes market their strengths both on and off the field.

Leadership

Jordan Trautman

Director of Women's Lacrosse Advisory

Jordan served as the Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at Division I Monmouth University (2017-2026), leading the program through its transition from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) to the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA). Under her leadership, Monmouth captured a share of its first MAAC regular season title and its first outright MAAC title with a No. 1 tournament seed, and she was named the program's first-ever MAAC Coach of the Year. Her teams have produced multiple conference Players, Midfielders and Goalkeepers of the Year and dozens of All-Conference honorees, while consistently earning academic honors. Before Monmouth, Jordan was Head Coach at Division III Kean University, and held assistant coaching roles at Division I Yale University and the United States Naval Academy, where she helped lead the Midshipmen to their first NCAA Tournament bid. Off the field, she spent two years at the NFL as a manager of player marketing. A standout collegiate defender at Division I Georgetown University, Jordan was a team captain, National All-American, Regional All-American, two-time All-Big East selection, two-time Big East champion, and two-time USA National Team tryout invitee. Her career has been recognized with induction into two Lacrosse Halls of Fame: the Connecticut Lacrosse Hall of Fame (2019) and the Ohio Lacrosse Hall of Fame (2026).
