Declan White

Bio

I'm a disciplined offensive midfielder with game-changing speed, strong field awareness, and a team-first mentality. I use my speed to create opportunities, pressure defenses, and generate scoring chances, and I play a coachable, consistent, detail-oriented game focused on helping my team succeed.

Lacrosse has taught me hard work, discipline, and the value of being part of a team. I thrive in competitive environments and bring energy, positivity, and a willingness to improve every day.

In the classroom, I take Loyola Academy's most rigorous courses and have a strong interest in business and finance. I'm seeking a competitive program that combines outstanding academics with high-level lacrosse, where I can keep developing as both a player and a person.

CPS Evaluation

Declan is a disciplined offensive midfielder who separates with game-changing speed and a high lacrosse IQ. He uses that first step to create for others, pressure defenses, and generate his own scoring chances, and he plays a coachable, detail-oriented, team-first brand of lacrosse that translates at the next level. He is particularly dangerous as a scoring threat in transition, where he uses his size and elite speed to create scoring opportunities. He thrives in competitive environments and brings energy and consistency every time he steps on the field.

What sets Declan apart is the rare pairing of that athleticism with a top-tier academic profile — among the strongest GPAs and course loads in his class, with a clear interest in business and finance. That combination makes him an ideal target for high-academic Division I programs, and his list reflects it: Ivy League, Patriot League, and elite academic powers. CPS projects him as a two-way midfield fit at academically demanding D1 schools — a player who will keep rising as he adds strength and polish.
